Located in Itasca County, 17 miles north of Grand Rapids and 12 miles north of Deer River in Minnesota, Cedarwild rests comfortably on the northeast shore of beautiful Moose Lake which has long been one of the areas finest natural Walleye fisheries. With docks on both Big and Little Moose Lakes, you will always have fine choices for fishing and sightseeing.

 

Your hosts, Steve and Paulie enjoy enhancing the tradition by which Cedarwild Resort is recognized: “A friendly sort of place”. For more than 50 years, families have been returning to Cedarwild to share the adventures of fishing on two great lakes, renew friendships, and to enjoy the numerous activities and the serenity of Cedarwild's special ambiance.

How to get to that fine place called Cedarwild Resort

From Interstate 35 just south of Duluth take Highway 2 West to Grand Rapids. (80 Miles)

From Minneapolis take Highway 169 North to Grand Rapids. (166 Miles)

From Fargo ND take Interstate 29 to Hwy 2 East to Grand Rapids (264 Miles)

 

From Grand Rapids
we're only 16 miles to the Northwest. Take #38 north from Grand Rapids for about 11 miles, turn left on # 19 for four miles to #238. Go north for a short mile, you'll see us on the left.​
